Kundalini Activation – Who to Learn From?

Kundalini Activation is an incredibly powerful process that can lead to profound spiritual, emotional, and physical transformation. However, in today’s world, there are more and more pseudo-teachers who, without sufficient preparation, offer trainings and sessions, often motivated primarily by financial gain. It is crucial to know how to recognize true experts and who is truly worth learning from.
Why Choosing the Right Teacher is Essential
Working with Kundalini energy is not just another breathwork technique or a passing trend. It is a deep process that requires proper guidance and an understanding of the subtle aspects of human energetics.
A fundamental part of Kundalini Activation is the release of trauma, unprocessed emotions, and past events stored in the body. The facilitator must fully understand this process, feel completely comfortable holding space for it, and comprehend what is happening, why, and how to support participants throughout their journey.
What to Consider When Choosing a Teacher
Before you decide to learn from a particular person, it is essential to analyze several key aspects:
Teacher’s Background – Check their journey. Who did they learn from? What was the quality of their training?
Length of Practice – How many years have they actively worked with this method before offering their own training? Do they have real experience?
References and Reviews – Do they have positive reviews from clients? Have their students truly undergone deep transformations?
Duration of Training – Was their own training long and thorough enough? Some people start teaching after just a few days of training, which does not allow for deep mastery of the method.
Teacher’s Motivation – Is their main intention truly to work with energy and help people, or are they primarily interested in financial gain?
Additional Trainings – Have they invested in further education and expanded their knowledge?
Do They Conduct Workshops and Sessions? – Many pseudo-teachers focus only on short 2-5 day trainings because it is easier and more profitable than working directly with people. Conducting individual and group sessions provides real experience and allows facilitators to truly understand the processes happening within participants.
Where Does the Kundalini Activation Method Come From?
There are only two schools that have pioneered the Kundalini Activation movement:
Kundalini Activation Process (KAP), founded by Venant Wong – it was Venant Wong who popularized Kundalini Activation worldwide.
Inner Dance, created by Pi Villaraza, a teacher of Venant Wong.
Regardless of the name under which someone offers their teachings – Life Force Activation, Kundalini Awakening, Source Energy – if the session involves participants lying on the floor, music playing, the facilitator touching their body or making hand movements in the air, leading to spontaneous bodily reactions, the method originates from Venant Wong, the creator of KAP.
A facilitator might claim they learned this method from a guru in India or an elderly couple in Spain, but one can be certain that those who taught them were originally introduced to the method by Venant Wong – whether they admit it or not.
Many teachers rebrand their methods to make them appear entirely new. Often, they have had contact with KAP but did not necessarily undergo full education or gain adequate experience in the method. Simply completing a 5-day course with Venant Wong or Pi Villaraza is not enough, though many stop at this level.
Many pseudo-masters do not conduct regular workshops or individual sessions but instead focus on 2 to 5-day training courses, often replicating KAP training. These trainings are significantly more profitable than working with clients, which is why many “teachers” choose to run courses instead of facilitating actual sessions.
However, conducting sessions, working with the body and emotions of individuals, and guiding them through this process for months or even years is what truly provides deep understanding and mastery of this method. Only someone who has genuinely immersed themselves in the process can teach others with full understanding and authentic intention.
About NOVA Energy School and My Path
I began my journey in 2019, when I started studying under Venant Wong, the creator of KAP. I completed Level I and Level II, and from 2019 to 2021, I worked as a KAP facilitator, guiding thousands of people through this deep transformational process. Then, for 1.5 years, I studied Inner Dance under Pi Villaraza, engaging in countless hours of meetings and analyzing vast amounts of materials to fully understand and honor this method. Additionally, I completed Level I and II training with Dr. Sarah Jane, the creator of Spinal Energetics, a method requiring precise and meticulous study. And while this is among the most significant, I have also learned from many other teachers I’ve encountered on my path.
My passion is exploring consciousness and creating spaces where people can find healing and spiritual awakening. My goal is to offer individuals the freedom that comes from connecting with their soul and the love of the Creator, just as I experienced it myself, which completely changed my life. Many people have asked me for mentorship, but only after years of study, sacrifices, and transformation did I feel truly ready to guide others. My unwavering belief in what I do has given me the strength to persevere and be where I am today.
Through my journey, I have realized that experience and good intentions are just the beginning. To succeed in this work, one must also understand how to build a solid and professional practice. Over the years, I have invested significant time, energy, and financial resources to learn how to create a sustainable and thriving spiritual practice. I learned how to design a website, run marketing campaigns, manage social media, create effective advertisements, and optimize SEO.
All of this is included in NOVA Energy School, allowing my students to focus on energy work and helping others instead of spending years figuring it all out through trial and error. My goal is not only to teach energetic practices but also to equip participants with the skills necessary to build an authentic, sustainable, and professional practice.
